Mr. Shivkumar G. Chandak

Mr. Shivkumar Chandak ,who has Huge 38 years of Rich Experience in Plywood Industry , Graduated in Commerce Stream from Jaipur Rajasthan in 80’s. During his college days he took active interest in Jewellary Industry till 1982. There he had an opportunity to go aborad with more responsibilities. For this He came to Mumbai for updating Travel Documentation. But Destiny had something else and better for him in the store. There was lot of time Gap in completing Travel Documentation.

He used his time for adding some experience and Joined a reputed Plywood Manufacturer. He found Plywood Industry very challenging and interesting and decided to pursue his big Business Goals in this Industry. After Some time He started his own Whole selling in the Mumbai and Maharashtra Plywood Market , which was on a growing pattern in 90’s. 

Shivkumar ji , with his aggressive marketing style and sharp business acumen captured the major part of market which had only Four whole sellers at that time. By end of 90’ He was well settled in the business with successful Brands like CHETAK AND STALLION. Buoyed by his marketing success , he further expended to whole of Maharashtra and in parts of Karnataka , Goa , Rajasthan , Gujarat , UP.

In this expansion spree He was joined by Mr Harsh Chandak , his son , in 2014. With the combined Energy Shivkumar ji took a plunge in Manufacturing and merged all the businesses into a one company , called CWC PLYBOARDS PVT.LTD. , to take advantage of synergies of large marketing network all over India with manufacturing concentration in Yamunanagr , Haryana and Saharanpur , UP which are the two major Plywood manufacturing Hubs.

The whole Business re-engineering enabled CWC Group to be a 250 crore group in this fast expanding plywood Industry and AtmaNirbhar Bharat. Thus Shivkumar ji with his sheer Hard Work and Marketing Skills created a mammoth CWC Group. In future He plans to add some more Products to make it a full Basket of Products of Wood Industry.

He is ably assisted , in fulfilling his Vision , by his Young and Entrprising son Mr. Harsh Chandak , who himself is a qualified Production and Engineers and an MBA in Finance from London.

His VISION is to be No. 1 in Plywood Industry in India.
His MISSION is to achieve this position in decade of 2030.

Been bought up in a distinctive environment of a family that has thrived on business, entrepreneurship was always on his mind.
To take the trading business to manufacturing level he decided to pursue BE in the department of production at the undergraduate level.

Post his undergrad he worked with Godrej and Boyce, to gain first hand experience and learn the various techniques of manufacturing. This developed his technical knowledge.

To develop management skills and learn other important aspects of business he decided to pursue a degree in management at the Warwick Business school (United kingdom).

He has given the company a more professional outlook. The father son duo, mix of experience and young energy have been growing the company.
